The TEDxWLSA event in December 2024 was made to demonstrate the vitality of thought among our student body, hence the theme “Pulse”. This event involved a team of 30+ students, 6 speakers, 200+ offline audience members, and 10 months of planning.
As Curator, I coordinated rehearsal timetables, oversaw venue logistics, and edited 50+ speech drafts for all speakers.
As Speaker, I delivered a talk titled “Is Queerness Becoming a Trend?”, uncovering the history and modern reality behind the queer identity.

“BloomBond”: Student Florist Organization
BloomBond is a student-run organization that mainly sells original bouquets at school events, and donates those proceedings to charities.
As Branch Leader, I oversaw budgets for material purchasing, led a streamline for floral arrangement at 5 major school events, and organized a delivery system to maximize efficiency. This organization has accumulated ¥500+ donated to environmental protection charities.
For Earth Day, we also led an afterschool session with 50+ participants to plant flowers and vegetables around campus, using recycled plastics to water them.
School Spirit Mural Project
This project was created to showcase the vitality, diversity, and creativity of our student body. This project involved 10+ student artists, and took place over 2 months. The design was done entirely by the students.
As leader of the project, I helped plan timetables to evenly distribute workload among the artists, contacted the school Arts team for painting supplies and artistic guidance, and reached out to the school marketing team to conduct an interview on the crew to further show school spirit.
This mural is at the center of our main school building for students and faculty.
